Today, the American Centrist Party has endorsed Libertarian Candidate Wes Upchurch for Missouri Secretary of State.  This makes Upchurch the first and only candidate endorsed by the party since 2004.

The American Centrist Party, which is a minor political party dedicated to the centrist movement issued this statement today, “The American Centrist Party endorses Wes Upchurch because of his stances on voter fraud, ballot reform (making ballot access fair for all political parties in Missouri) and reform to the Real ID Act.”

In response Wes Upchurch has stated, “I’m glad to accept the endorsement of the ACP.  The ACP represents neither right nor left political philosophy, and understands that freedom is the glue that ties all American’s together.  It shows a commitment towards changing the face of politics to make a real difference.”

The American Centrist Party belief is that the best direction for America is “Not Right, Not Left, But Forward.”

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, but over the last two months I've been all over Missouri, campaigning for free elections.

I've had booths or been present at a number of county fairs sharing my message with Missourians, I was at several Independence Day celebrations, street festivals, and local events. I've done quite a few radio interviews and was present at several candidates forums.

Thanks to everyone who's been supportive and coming out to all these events. I plan on keeping the momentum going full force all they way until election time.

Event: At the Libertarian National Convetion
Date: May 22-26, 2008
Location: Sheraton Hotel in Denver, CO
Description: National Libertarian Convention

I'm a delegate to the National Libertarain Convention.  It should be exciting since, there is no clear leader in the race for the Libertarian Party nomination for President.

As a delegate, I'll do what I can to make sure Bob Barr gets the nomination.

I'll report back to you after the convention.

 -Wes

A strong body makes a strong mind. As to the species of exercise I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Let your gun, therefore, be the constant companion of your walks. – Thomas Jefferson
